Meet Our Team

Michael Creed is the Branch Manager for Luminate Home Loans' Brookfield, Wisconsin location, where he does much more than just managing. In fact, Michael wears many hats at his job—from running his own personal production team to creating systems, policies, and procedures for branch processing, Michael does it all. In addition, he also coaches the loan officers and other team leads at his branch, working hard to ensure his team is set up for success.

As a homeowner before he even graduated college, Michael is very familiar with the pain points that most homeowners and prospective homeowners face. He loves working with clients that are willing to trust his expertise to get mortgages closed quickly, while also improving their quality of life with a wholistic financial plan.

When at work, Michael is energized by all of his amazing clients and hardworking staff. Outside of work, you’ll usually find Michael rock climbing, alpine skiing, mountain biking, weightlifting, attending church, or going on other various outdoor adventures.

Theresa is the Michael Creed Team licensed pre-approval expert. She has over 20 years of banking and mortgage experience with most of that time serving clients in a community banking environment. She wanted to challenge herself and grow while still focusing on her passion for people a few years ago when she joined Michael. Theresa believes in educating our clients in the process of home buying as well as letting them know of all their options, as mortgages are far from cookie-cutter!

Theresa is married, has two fabulous kids, and a dog named Reggie who likes to go to the Luminate offices. When not working, you can find her cheering on her kids at the soccer fields, swimming in the summer, reading, or cooking. 

Michelle is the Michael Creed Team contract to close expert. She left the retail industry to find something more challenging. Not only has she found that, but she has also realized how rewarding it is to help clients with one of the biggest transactions of their life. Michelle strives to make the documentation part of the mortgage process as painless as possible.

Michelle is married, has twin girls, two cats and a dog named Emma who can frequently be seen at the Luminate office. When not working, you can find her rooting for her girls in softball or gymnastics, enjoying family time, getting crafty or traveling. Michelle has also served as a co-leader and cookie mom for her daughters Girl Scout troop.

Jeff Dreyer is the Office Manager for the Brookfield Branch at Luminate Home Loans. While he aids any branch employee in any aspect of their job that can make the loan process easier, Jeff is also Michael’s right-hand man for all things related to the administration of the branch.

With over 15 employees, Jeff wears many hats, but you can often find him keeping track of many different metrics, preparing documentation, greeting clients and vendors upon entry, organizing client data, and overall ensuring great client experiences. Jeff has been in lending since he graduated college and got his start in his family’s business. When he isn’t hard at work, Jeff is spending time with his partner, Steve, his family, and his dogs.

Jackie Koppen is the Branch Processing Team Lead at Luminate Home Loans and for the Michael Creed Team. Jackie works hard to process customer documents so that clients are clear to close on their homes on time. Jackie also is proud to do her best in her position and is happy to have continued to learn and grow over the years.

Jackie first started off her career in 1997 as an administrative assistant before she became a loan officer. In 2015, she worked as a loan officer assistant for three years before moving to her current role as a processor. On weekends, you'll likely find her near the water—boating, kayaking, or laying in a pool. Jackie also loves spending time with her grandkids and camping with her family.
